Eight generations of William Jenkins are shown in the photo. On the left is a sketch of Rev. William Jenkins, (1779-1843) a native of Kirriemuir, Scotland, who emigrated to the U.S.A., married Mary Hatfield Stockton, and then settled in Richmond Hill, Ontario, just north of Toronto.
From left to right, are William Jenkins 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 7, 5. Their professions included Minister, Miner, Teacher, Engineer, Computer Guy, Lawyer, Engineer and William the Eighth. I'm the computer guy.
In retirement I've taken up writing, editing and publishing as a hobby. It's not a business and I do not charge for my editing service. I do sell books I've published and I encourage my writers to do their own marketing.
I've been working with half a dozen Canadian or American writers and twenty-four in South Africa. This website introduces the authors and their work. It gives you a chance to read their work and review it if you so desire. It also is intended to encourage other budding authors to get their work published. My authors range from 14 to mid-80's in age and from student to college professors. Genres include novels, biographies, poetry, life advice and children's books.
